On Memorial day, traditionally we recognize and remember military veterans who helped preserve our cherished freedom by participating in parades, by visiting cemeteries, by placing flags and flowers on the graves of those who have died, and paid tribute . Memorial day is a celebration of one's life and in remembrance, Lokvani would like to dedicate this issue to all the veterans and to hope and peace as a symbol of the human spirit.

Ekal Vidyalaya, a movement dedicated to bringing education and empowerment to nearly 100,000 rural and remote villages across India, held its annual Bollywood musical fundraiser on May 18, 2025, at Keefe Technical High School in Framingham, Massachusetts. The event, titled “Dhakan – Love is in the Air”, featured renowned musician Dhruvit Shah and his orchestra, along with vocalists Sudha Subbaraman, Shraddha Agrawal, and Meenakshi Kulshreshtha.
