With the DeepFake bill becoming the Take It Down Act for protection of victims, a proposal for a Forever DeepFake Stamp was sent to the USPS by Secretary General Kumu Gupta. Miss Gupta was informed by the US Postal Stamp Advisory Committee, it can take up to 3 years for a theme to be vetted and the stamp to be released.

The TAKE IT DOWN Act, signed into law on May 19, 2025, criminalizes the publication of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated NCII. It also requires social media and online platforms to remove NCII within 48 hours of notice from a victim.

"A DeepFake USPS Forever Stamp would remind Americans of the grave consequences of DeepFake images and it's life damaging & altering effects on the victims lives, every time they go to mail something be it in United States or globally. A DeepFake stamp would also alert global recipients of mail from USA on the dangers of using AI in such harmful ways and encourage them to change as well, securing further America's stand in protecting victims" .....Secretary General Kumu Gupta.

A similar proposal was sent to the U.N. Stamps Postal Chief, with sample stamp images for a UN DeepFake Stamp. June 2025 marks the 80th Anniversary of U.N. Charter being signed (June 26 1945).
