Ekal USA invites college students passionate about healthcare and service to apply for the Ekal Medical Winter Internship, a 3-week immersive program in rural India from Dec 27, 2025 – Jan 19, 2026. Interns will work directly in Ekal villages, supporting local health initiatives, assisting with outreach and education, and observing India’s rural healthcare system in action. The program also includes hospital visits, shadowing opportunities, and a final research project focused on identifying and addressing a local health challenge. This is a unique chance to gain real-world experience in medicine, public health, and global development—while making a meaningful impact and experiencing India’s vibrant culture.
