New England’s local Indian arts community was recently graced by the delightful performance of a few bright new stars in the world of Indian classical performance. Bharata Natyam artiste Lavanya Ananth, along her talented orchestral team, delighted rasikas with a creative and wide-ranging spectrum of stories, musical selections and rasas (emotive expressions) at a performance in Marlboro on May 1st.
