Swarajathi Workshop with R.K. Shriramkumar
Composition: Todi and YadukulaKambhoji Swarajthis by Shyama Sastri will be taught to students by R.K. Shriramkumar.
Sri R.K. Shriramkumar, grandson of veteran violinist 'Sangita Kalaratna' Sri R.K. Venkatrama Sastri, learnt initially under Smt Savitri Satyamurthy, later under his grandfather, and had advanced guidance from Professor V.V. Subramanyam. He has also had training in vocal music from 'Sangita Kalanidhi' Sri D.K. Jayaraman. Shriramkumar has given many solo violin concerts in addition to some vocal concerts.
Date: 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th of May.
Eligibility Requirements: at least 6 to 7 years of learning Carnatic music.
