Nikhil Pujya Shri Vrajrajkumarji Mahodayshri is the grandson of H.H. Goswami 108 Shri  Mathureshwarji Maharajshri and the son of Goswami 108 Shri Dhrumilkumarji Mahodayshri. He was born on November 18th 1986, Kartak Vadbij.

At the young age of 6 in the year 1991 Pujya Shri Vrajrajkumarji Mahodayshri delivered his first divya Pravachan at Gandhinagargruh, Vadodara. At the age of just 14 years he started up with religious and sampraday based activities of the upbringing of the Vaishnav Sampraday following in the pathway of his great ancestors.

The Vallabh Youth Organization (V.Y.O) was established in the year 1999, under the guidance of Shri Vrajrajkumar Mahodayshri, to bring awareness amongst the youth and children of the principles of religion, to make them worthy citizens of India and walk upon the pathway of Pushtimarg. To give a momentum to this mission Pujya Shri dedicated his precious time besides his daily schedule and today this institution has been established at 21 places in India. Nearly 20,000 youngsters have been following this wonderful path through this institution.

Specially for youngsters today, Pujya Shree Vrajrajkumarji has conducted many youth guidance camps in many cities of India as well as America where Pujya Shri himself performed the Shibirs on the topics "How to Live Life according to Gita" and "How to understand Hinduism and Pushtimarg in an easy way". In India more than 10,000 youngsters took the divine advantage of Pujya Shri's Shibirs. His divya vachanamruts have left wonderful memories and a strong impact on one and all. His ideologies are an inspiration to the young generation of today.

Could you tell us a little about the Pushti marg?

In the past 2000 years, there have been five great Acharyas who have guided the spiritual life of Bharatiyas. Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Madhavacharya, Nimbarkacharya and Vallabhacharya.  Vallabhcharya in whose family I am born is the proponent of the Pushti Marg.  Essentially Pushti Marg is the way of complete surrender. It is the offering of oneself to the Lord without  wanting anything in return.

This path was revealed to Vallabhacharya  by Lord Krishna. Once when Acharya entered Gokul, he thought about the important question of restoring people to the right path of devotion. He meditated on Krishna who appeared to him in a vision in the form of Shrinathji, and disclosed the 'Brahma Sambandha' (Sanskrit for - "Relation with Brahman, the supreme Godhead") , a mantra of self dedication or consecration of self to Krishna.  That was the beginning of the Pushti Marg.

What was your motivation to form the Vallabh Youth Organization?

The right time to bring people to spirituality is at a young age. In fact we think Garbha Sanskar, or having spiritual training from the Garbha (womb)  itself is important. A person characteristic is influenced 15% by the mother’s characteristics and 15% by the father’s. 30 % of the characteristics come with Garbha Nurture. 20 % we owe to our previous life, ancestry etc and only 20% is shaped by our experience.  Since Garbha Sanskar is so important, we feel it is important to train children and the youth for their good and for their progeny.

How are you able to bring spirituality to the young people who have been diverted by materialism?

I consider this as a huge opportunity and not a challenge.  As materialism increases thirst for spirituality also grows.  We have established over 25 centers all over India and the number of young volunteers is growing by leaps and bounds in a very short period of time. Just as one picks a school to go to achieve your material goals, young people must pick a path of spirituality as well and I am happy to say that the young people at the Vallabh Youth Organization are very enthusiastic to learn.

What the goals for VYO?

We would like to grow our centers. We already have 25 with 9 in the US. We hope we can have one in Boston. By the end of 2014, we hope to have spiritual training courses explaining the nature of Man, reason for creation, Garbha Sanskar, Karma Theory, Hinduism and Pushti Marg.

Seva is integral to our organization we are supporting the education of over one Lakh children. The lower middle class is India suffers a lot and we hope to have Annakshetras to help provide food for this group.  In the years ahead we would like to grow that.

Any special message for our readers?

My message is simple. Money is required to run the vehicle of life.  You must do what it takes to earn money and live the life of a householder. Shri Vallabhacharya did exactly that. But every travel requires a destination. That destination is “Ishwar” or God.  You need to find the way to that destination.  Whatever be the spiritual path - Dharma that you pick, hold onto it. Prosper in it so you may reach your destination – which is the Lord.  My blessings and good wishes to all.

It was hard to believe that  was speaking to a young 24 year old Guru . His Tejas and the power with which he spoke was certainly moving.  I would strongly recommend attending his discourse at the ISSO. More information at http://www.lokvani.com/lokvani/cal.php?stage=1&event_id=8186
