Ekal Power of Education - 2019
Each year, the New England chapter of Ekal brings together a group of community leaders to this invitation-only event to garner support for our work. We solicit your financial support as well as your ideas to accelerate our mission to transform lives of underprivileged children living in the remote rural villages of India.
Professor Tarun Khanna of Harvard Business School who is also the Director of Lakshmi Mittal South Asia Institute at Harvard will deliver the keynote address. We also have a panel discussion on “Digital Education and Healthcare for Rural Indiaâ€, with expert panelists : Prof. Mike Teoderescu of Boston College, Dr Raghu Appasani of UCLA Medical Center and Jaleesa Trapp of Media Lab at MIT.
