North Indian Tabla: ancient origins and future possibilities
presented by renowned master of world percussion, composer and author Jerry Leake

A master class/clinic presented by Jerry Leake an artist, who teaches, percussion with an insatiable desire to span the world, who writes books about it, and who produces CDs. He is the co-founder of the award winning world-music ensemble Natraj and performs with Club d'Elf and the Agbekor Society. His world-rock-fusion octet “Cubist” has gained national recognition with 3 CDs released. On tabla, Jerry has accompanied Ali Akbar Khan, Steve Gorn, Sharafat Ali Khan, Chitravena Ravikiran to name a few.
