PARSIS: the Zoroastrians of India
"PARSIS: THE ZOROASTRIANS OF INDIA" is a major photography exhibit by Sooni Taraporevala -- renowned screenwriter, professional photographer, and director. The exhibit is related to her photography book of the same name. Taraporevala is best known as screenwriter for Mira Nair-directed films such as Oscar-nominated SALAAM BOMBAY, MISSISSIPPI MASALA, and THE NAMESAKE. The exhibit and 2 related events are FREE. -Thurs Oct 25: Opening night q/a between Taraporevala and Harvard Professor Homi Bhabha -Sat Oct 27: Screening of poignant comedy LITTLE ZIZOU, a feature film written and directed by Taraporevala. The Boston Phoenix lists PARSIS as one of the "Top Ten Fall Exhibits to Check Out." FREE
