Gundecha Brothers Live in Concert - An Evening of Dhrupad Vocal Music
The Yale Raga Society and the South Asian Studies Council are proud to present the Gundecha Brothers live in concert. Umakant and Ramakant Gundecha are leading exponents of the Dhrupad tradition of music, an ancient and stately genre of music that developed in the princely courts of North India. The artists will be accompanied by Akhilesh Gundecha (pakhawaj) and Shraddha & Antoine Gundecha (tanpura). The concert is FREE. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
