BU DHEEM: Indian Classical Arts Association presents Taalam: A Night of Cosmic Rhythm
Dheem, Boston University's Indian Classical Arts Association, is dedicated to preserving classical dance and music forms at Boston University. Dheem acts as a forum for students who are interested in Indian dance and music, for the practice of these various forms of art, and for the preservation and evolution of classical Indian arts. This semester, DHEEM would like to celebrate taalam, the rhythmic cycles that bring music and dance together. The members of Dheem cordially invite you to our semi-annual show, Taalam for an evening of classical music, dance, and singing. Tickets can be reserved by contacting budheem@gmail.com or they will be sold in advance at 775 Commonwealth Ave. Boston MA 02215 (George Sherman Union at Boston University) from 3/20 to 3/23 for $5. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $8. The venue is BU Dance Theater at 915 Commonwealth Ave. Boston MA 02215, Buick Street entrance.
