GODA Kalyanam
Goddess Goda Devi (Andal), after observing the vratam (Thiruppavai) during the Marghaseersha month, merged with Lord Ranganatha (Srimannarayana) in Srirangam. This union is celebrated as Andal Kalyanam. This is being done on the completion of the vratam by a group of people in the New England region to bring peace, prosperity and happiness to the community. We request the pleasure of your company with family and friends to participate in this auspicious occasion. On 14th January 2012, Saturday, From 3:30 P.M onwards at Chinmaya Maruthi 1 Union Street Andover, MA 01810 US You can either sponsor or just attend the kalyanam without sponsoring. KALYANAM STARTS PROMPTLY AFTER GROUP SRI VISHNU SAHASRANAMA CHANTING. Kalyanam will be followed by Prasadam/Bhojanam. KALYANAM SPONSORSHIP: $25 Sponsoring Couples will be given Sankalpam, pooja materials. You can bring fruits/flowers.
