Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Two New Indian and Southeast Asian Inspired Galleries
On December 15, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston will unveil two new galleries dedicated to paintings and sculptures that reflect the Southeast Asian and Indian cultures. The South and Southeast Asian Sculpture Gallery will celebrate rare sculptural works from India and neighboring countries, and The Asian Paintings Gallery will display rotations of the rich painting traditions of India, Korea, the Himalayas, and Persia beginning with an important collection of Indian works in the exhibition Gems of Rajput Painting.
