Oct 22 Diwali Art Workshop/Billerica
Diwali Art Workshop using Recycled Materials..... All budding artists are welcome to join a free workshop where kids can try their hands on making Diwali art work with used items from daily life.... There is no registration for this workshop and it is open to all.... Art Teacher's Introduction.... The class will be conducted by Gopika Arora who is an experimental and self taught artist, with passion for mixed media and traditional media such as acrylics and water colors.... She is very active in local community as part time instructor at Michaels in Chelmsford, teaching Arts at Chelmsford Community Center and has served as Board member of Chelmsford Arts Society for the last 6 years.... She has organized a Summer Art Camp where kids learnt fabric painting, candle making, glass painting, sketching and much more.... She has also done solo exhibitions of her work and juried shows for many years. In Gopika's own words - Art has always been my passion. Let's learn and enjoy Art, together.... Happy Creativity!!!
