Rajyasree Ghosh is a rising star of Hindustani classical music and has enthralled audiences with her mellifluous and powerful voice at some of the most esteemed musical events in India and abroad. Rajyasree is a disciple of Shri Amiya Ranjan Bandopadhyay, Smt. Girija Devi, Pt. Arun Bhaduri and Pt. K.G. Ginde. She has the special distinction of being equally adept at both Raga Music (Khayal) as well as the lighter semi-classical genres such as Thumri, Dadra, Bhajan, Nazrulgeeti, Bengali Tappa and Puratani Songs.
