| Fusion Indian Music Concert, with Dinner/MIT Join us for a fun evening with tabla, sitar, and guitar/violin performers who will enchant us with innovative music, preceeded with a tasty dinner with the artists. Attendees will enjoy a light dinner and evening of innovative Indian music featuring tabla, sitar, guitar, violin, and trumpet performers. Five musicians, led by Nishikant Sonwalkar ScD '92 and including Teresa Nakra PhD '00, will explain, explore, and perform creative improvisations on classical Indian, classical European, and American jazz music. This program will also be carried, in part, by Arlington public television. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with the performers and discuss their music. Agenda: 5:30pm Meet and mingle in the Bush Room (10-105). 6:00pm Dinner with the musicians. 7:00pm Proceed to Killian Hall (14W-111) for concert seating. 7:30pm Concert start (one intermission).
