Prep for Ivy Colleges We love teaching and have extensive tutoring experience, both one-on-one and in an organized SAT class setting. At PrepIvy, we will identify each student’s set of strengths and weaknesses and help build a custom curriculum that addresses each student’s individual needs. We are also particularly effective at working with younger students because our program focuses on teaching students the material on the exam and not just “tricks to beat the testâ€, as is common with some competitors. The earlier a student enrolls the more influence we can have on building strong study habits and good test taking skills.
What sets PrepIvy apart is not only the quality of education that our tutors have received, but our commitment to helping each student make the right choices throughout high school so that they can attend their dream college. High School can be very difficult to navigate because of the wide range of areas a student is expected to be involved in while still excelling in the classroom. In addition to scoring a perfect score on the SAT’s, the tutors were on the football team, tennis team, and the math team. In addition, they were involved in a variety of community service and leadership activities and were valedictorians of a 500-student graduating class. In other words, we understand that building an attractive college application requires more than just a stellar SAT score and that excelling in all the areas that colleges look at demands careful planning and a long term commitment to success.
At PrepIvy, we believe we can not only help your student succeed on the SATs, but also guide them through the many decisions they will face in high school (e.g. course work, summer internships, what colleges to apply to, college essays, etc.).
