Music Review: Patiala House
Not necessarily a new sound but still delightful all out Punjabi track by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy.

Music Review: Thoonganagaram (Tamil)
Thoonganagaram seems to be the most promising amongst the newer releases which include albums by Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja and even Ilayaraja. Sundar C. Babu has a freshness and does not attempt to be pretentious.

Music Review: No One Killed Jessica
The music features Shriram Iyer who is the brother of one of New England's most talented Carnatic musicians, Geetha Murali. Shriram Iyer who shot to fame with his music for Iqbal is an extremely talented musician and lead vocalist of the Om the fusion band.

Music Review: Tanu Weds Manu
The title of the movie caught my attention.. and the track does not disappoint.

Music Review: Game
'Game' slated for release early April is a thriller starring Abhishekh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Shergill and shot in international and exotic locales. The film is directed by Abhinay Deo and has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The music is stylish fitting the theme of the film and as always, the trio present a mixed bag of western and Indian - soft rock, R & B and Indi-jazz/pop.

Music Review: F.A.L.T.U
Sachin-Jigar's music is a high energy youthful and festive.

Music Review - Dum Maro Dum
The music track of Dum Maro Dum is a creation of Pritam that features some enjoyable numbers.

Music Review: Bhindi Bazaar Inc.

Sandeep and Surya making their debut with this film, met at a music competition, formed an Indi pop Fusion Band and after a few independent albumsmmusic and TV shows, have ventured into Music Direction in Bollywood as composer duo with Bhindi Baazaar!. The duo enjoy experimenting with new sounds of world music in their sound tracks, guitars and sound software.

Music Review: Blast From The Past
Geeta Dutt is a special singer who stole the hearts of many with her melodies. A special night of music to honor her is being held on May 14 at the ISW Center in Shrewsbury, MA. More information at http://www.lokvani.com/lokvani/cal.php?stage=1&event_id=8299.

Music Review - Deepti Navaratna
Cambridge-based Carnatic classical vocalist Deepti Navaratna released her latest CD of South Indian Classical music on May 7, 2011 at the First Church in Cambridge. The CD 'Aarohanam', with violinist Krishnan Parameswaran and mridangist Mahalingam Santhanakrishnan is a lovely presentation of some unique Krithis.

Music Review - Shaitan
Prashant Pillai, Ranjit Barot and others make an impressive presence in Bijoy Nambiar's Shaitan. Very unique well done track.
