FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact for further information: Jill Jardine, VPS Publicity, 781-204-9350 The Vrindavana Preservation Society is sponsoring a Yogathon event to benefit the Tsunami survivors in India on Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Broad Meadows School in Quincy. This event will begin with registration at 8:00 am, and the program begins at 9:00 am, ending at 8:00 pm. Participants can spend part of the day or the full day enjoying Yogathon activities. The Yogathon is free and open to the public, with activities for all ages, including a children's event simultaneously. Participants may collect pledges for each hour they partake in the Yogathon activities. All monies collected as pledges during the Yogathon will be donated to the Vrindavan Preservation Society Tsunami Relief Fund. This fund benefits the villagers of Oyyali Kupam in South India, who survived the Tsunami, though their village was left in shambles. Vrindavana Preservation Society encourages sponsors to help with the event by pledging donations that will benefit the Tsunami Relief Fund. Yogathon current sponsors include, Mass Yoga Network, Stonyfield Farms, Luna Bar, Whole Foods, and Webflexor
