SUMMIT MERU 2004 - Temple Architecture of India: Khajuraho A three-day workshop on the Art and Architecture of Indian Temples, on how sacred spaces are concretized in temple buildings. In this lecture series Dr. Desai will highlight how buildings can be representations of inner and outer cosmology. She will give three lectures on the “Art and Architecture of Indian Temples”, the “Temples and Sculptures of Khajuraho” and “Beyond the Erotic at Khajuraho.” A film on Khajuraho will also be shown on September 16.
