On the way to Bollywood: Indian Modern Dance Workshop Bollywood, India’s equivalent of Hollywood, is the largest film industry in the world. Out of this industry has emerged a new genre of Indian dance and music that draws from various world styles, including hip-hop, Indian folk, and Indian classical forms. In this workshop, students will learn upbeat dance moves and fun choreography set to the highly popular “Rang Deeni” from the 2004 movie Dev. No prior dance experience is necessary, and both men and women are welcome!
