Krsna Katha - Dances of the Blue God
Leela Dance Theater will premiere their production Krsna Katha - Dances of the Blue God this fall. Krsna Katha… is a dance-drama based on the tenets of Bharata Natyam the ancient classical dance style of south India. It explores mythology and living poetry for the stage and brings the enchanting temple stories about the Hindu god Krishna to life. The dance style is graceful, opulent, percussive and expressive. Original musical score and fabulous costumes enhance the production.
