Kathak Master - Pandit Chitresh Das At Yale
In Master of Tradition, internationally renowned Kathak maestro Pandit Chitresh Das performs a traditional Kathak solo, classical Indian dance form from North India. Pt. Das gives a tour-de-force performance of dance, rhythmic exchange and storytelling accompanied by some of India’s greatest musicians, including Pandit Ramesh Mishra (sarangi), Debasish Sarkar (vocal), Jayanta Banerjee (sitar) and Biplab Bhattacharya (tabla). The concert will also feature performances by the internationally acclaimed Chitresh Das Dance Company.
