Saheli Workshops on Improving Child-Parent Communication in South Asian Families
Workshop I on March 13, 2-4 pm. The IGC workshop will assist South Asian families to understand the complexities of cross cultural communication. Children and parents will share experiences of adjusting to another culture while maintaining their own. Multiple viewpoints about the causes of conflict in the home will be heard and results from the Saheli community survey will be shared. Professionals from the community will facilitate discussions.
