Chhandika Presents - A Kathak Story
Gretchen Hayden presents her students in this Chhandika production offering a glimpse into the story of kathak dance. From the ancient Hindu temples, to the time of wandering kathakas (storytellers), through the splendors of the Mogul courts, kathak has emerged on the international stage as a mesmerizing dance-theater. Come join us for this annual community event celebrating kathak dance, and stay to enjoy some Indian treats at the reception.
