Space waves does not have precise rules. Each level has a distinct kind of music, ranging from soft chill wave to forceful synth wave, mystical ambient to tight techno. Players may choose their own way through each level, unlocking new layers of sound waves, gathering frequency energy, and improving the controlling entity to adapt to more difficult rhythms.
