Yeast Strain Selection
Yeast fermentation is the most economical eukaryotic expression system for scale up production of both secreted and intracellular proteins that require post-translational modifications, including humanized antibodies. Yeast fermentation has been also used in the production of chemical precursors, global food processing such as coffee and chocolate, or even wastewater processing.
