Math Foundations Contest Conducted By ATFS Learning Center

Math Foundations Contest was conducted by ATFS Learning Center in Shrewsbury on April 30th, 2005. 52 contestants participated in 5 different levels for Math. Children did not have to be enrolled in ATFS to participate in the contest. It was open to all.

The winners of the contest were as follows:

Level A1
1st Place - Ansh Jetly - Grade KG from Shrewsbury
2nd Place - Amar Vadhera Grade KG from Natick
3rd Place - Jyotika Vallurupalli Grade KG from Grafton

Level A
1st Place - Rohit Rajeev Grade 1 from Westford
2nd Place - Abhinav Kurada Garde 1 from Littleton
3rd Place - Sarik Goyal Grade KG from Worcester

Level 1
1st Place - Abhinav Venigalla Grade 2 from Southborough
2nd Place - Sonali Razdan Grade 2 from Westborough
3rd Place - Abhishek Shivkumar Grade 3 from Marlborough

Level 2
1st Place - Aneesh Anand Grade 4 from West Newton
2nd Place - Sneha Subramaniam Grade 5 from Westborough
3rd Place - Mayank Dubey Grade 5 from Nashua - NH

Level 3
1st Place - Rishikesh Rachavelpula Grade 6 from Shrewsbury
2nd Place - Rajeev Chorgade Grade 7 from Natick
3rd Place - Neha Sharma Grade 8 from Somerville

The contest was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony of ATFS Learning Center. Dr. Anil Saigal, Chair of Mechanical Engineering, Tufts University presided over the function and gave out the prizes.
ATFS plans to conduct Math Foundation Contest each year combined with their Prize distribution ceremony in April. They will also be introducing a Science Foundations Contest this October which will take place the same day as their semi annual prize distribution ceremony for the current semester.
