Global Peace Secretariat gifts U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres with Mahatma Gandhi book

Secretary General Kumu Gupta gifted U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres with  Pathways to Global Transformation Conversations with BAPU book by Dr. Vedabhyas Kundu & Broadcast Journalist Munazah Shah as a Thank You for including Gandhi Smriti as a resource on UN International Day of Non Violence web page of the UN website on request.

Dr Vedabhyas Kundu is Programme Officer with Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti and has expertise in nonviolent communication, nonviolent conflict resolution, mediation and different dimensions of Gandhian philosophy. Ms Munazah Shah, co-author of the book,  is a senior broadcast journalist (India) with interests in nonviolent communication

Earlier 2 copies of this book were gifted to Hon. President Draupadi Murmu of India of which one copy  was placed in the Rashtapati Bhavan Library.

Miss Gupta launched Global Peace Secretariat , an init in tiative on global peace and women's and children's rights on October 2nd 2022 ,  15th Ann. UN International Day of Non Violence marked by the U.N. for Mahatma Gandhi's birthday. Miss Gupta has been involved with the U.N. for over 2 decades working on  human rights and social justice, having been nominated for the U.N. Prize and UN SDG Award (Goal 16). In 2023 Secretary General Kumu Gupta was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for her many years of tireless dedication to justice for all.
