Graduation Puja

Graduations mark the end of one phase of a student’s life and the start of another phase. It is a joyful time in students’ lives, marked by parties and merrymaking. VHPA offers a more traditional way of celebrating this very special time in the life of a student.

For 16 years, World Hindu Council of America (VHPA) has been performing an annual Vedic Graduation Puja for all students graduating from High School or College. The achievements of the students are celebrated in a special Deeksha ceremony. This provides opportunities for the young to understand their responsibilities for this important phase of their life’s journey, and for the family and friends of the student to give their blessings for their bright future.

This year the ceremony is being held at the Gita Mandir in Shrewsbury, on June 8, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
