Women of the World
Songs from India, and other countries, will be presented by these 10 exceptionally talented musicians and singers, all former alumni of Berklee, who are from India, Italy, Mexico, USA, and Japan. The group has performed at Carnegie Hall and and other prestigious venues, and has toured Japan, Africa and other countries. Annette Philip, originally from India, and presently a professor of voice at the Berklee College of Music, brings her international group of 10 musicians and vocalists, all former Berklee alumni, for an evening to remember at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington. It is one of the most innovative groups out of the Berklee College of Music. These exceptionally talented singers and musicians from other countries play the beat and sing in Hindi as if they are from there.

This is what the media is saying about these 10 unique woman musicians who are singing songs in Hindi and other countries.

'Wonderful!!!! - Bobby McFerrin, Grammy award-winning vocalist'

'The music spoke throughout the night—it shouted, it soothed, it pleaded, it celebrated. The visual was as powerful as the music: here were women from around the world, and here was family. But the strongest pulse of all was the palpable joy of these women creating the music together.' – Nikki Flionis – The Arts – Fenway News

'It is just amazing to hear Women of the World’s multi-faceted talent, the depth and complexity of their pieces, and to watch their passion for what they do. They are a stunning group with incredible talent.' - Ann Miller, President of Boston Jazz Voices
