Free Kite Flying Event on Mothers Day in Lexington
Lex Fly a Kite!.....Lex Fly a Kite is presented by Creating Community (Lexington residents Deb Jackson and Renuka Srinivasan) in conjunction with Kites Over New England and the Blue Hill Observatory..... Learn to build your own kite – materials $5 each - and bring your crayons to decorate your kite!...... Ready to fly kites are also for sale, $3.00 and higher..... (Proceeds will support this event.)..... Watch the kite demonstrations and displays by members of Kites Over New England!

Cost: FREE kite festival on Mothers Day - All ages and kite flying abilities are welcome....Bring your kites (or buy one there) to this free and fun event.

Directions: The Chiesa Farm is the field across from the Fiske school on Adams Street, access by car is from the Diamond Middle School ball fields. Park in the Diamond Middle School parking lot by the ball fields, off Sedge Road (near Adams Street) and look for the Chiesa Conservation Land sign.
