The “Sandbox” model focuses on building an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship that boosts the economic vitality and quality of life in a defined region. After 5 years of building a sandbox in Hubli, Karnataka, the Deshpande Foundation has launched the effort in Lowell and Lawrence.
