Gita Chanting Competition/Chinmaya Mission Boston
Participants have to recite Chapter 3 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita - Karma Yoga · Group Dhruva: Grades Pre K and Kindergarten - Shlokas 1 through 6 · Group Prahallada: Grades 1, 2 and 3 - Shlokas 1 through 12 · Group Markandeya: Grades 4, 5 and 6 - Shlokas 1 through 18 · Group Narada: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 - Shlokas 1 through 24 · Group Tyagaraja: Adults - Shlokas 1 through 35* Note: * For Tyagaraja category, a pro-rated bonus of up to 4 points will be awarded for reciting all the remaining shlokas 36 - 43 of the chapter. · Conclusion as given in the end of the chapter applies to all groups · Gita verses will be taught in the Shlokathon class. . The audio files for practicing at home is on our website.
