American India Foundation (AIF) Fall 2009 Bike Ride!
The American India Foundation Fall Foliage Bike Ride is a fun, 25-mile 'at-your-own-pace' tour along a fall foliage route in and around Concord, Massachusetts.
To participate, each rider must raise a minimum of $250. This buys a rickshaw & livelihood for life in our Rickshaw puller program.
You will have to sign a release form at registration. This event is non-smoking. There will be a rest stop approximately mid-way along the bike route. Our rest stop cheer leaders will provide drinks, power bars, fun snacks, and encouragement so you have enough energy to make it to the finish. Pizza will be served at the end of the ride. Prizes for top finisher and highest fundraiser!!
AIF’s mission is to accelerate social and economic change in India. AIF has invested in over 100 Indian Non-governmental Organizations since its inception in 2001. AIF awards grants to education, livelihood, and public health projects in India. [www.aif.org]
