Independence Day - Stamford. CT
India’s 60th Independence Day will be celebrated in Stamford with a flag raising ceremony at the Government Center on August 11 at 10.30 am. Mayor Dan Malloy will be the chief guest. The event is free and open to the public.
This will be followed by lunch at Meera Restaurant on 227 Summer Street in Stamford and interactive session with the Mayor. The fee for the luncheon is $15. Registration is required.
