United India Association of New England Election of Officers & Annual Meeting Sunday October 29th 3:00 PM Rasoi Gourmet Restaurant Trolley Square Plaza 855 Worcester Rd Framingham, MA Light Dinner will be served after the Election You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Body Meeting & Election of Officers for United India Association of New England Positions Open: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and the Board Members You may submit your proposal to any member of the nominating committee for consideration. In order to vote or become an officer, your dues must be paid for the current year. If you are interested in becoming an officer, kindly notify the nominating committee of your interest so that you may be considered a candidate. All nominations must include signature of 7 paid members as sponsors. Election is open to all current members. Please take an interest in the management of your association by participation in this process. If you have questions about the duties of officers, please call any current officer or any member of the nominating committee. We will all be happy to assist you. Election: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Directors: If interested to contest for any position, please submit your name with 7 recommendations to the election committee by 10/15/06: You must be a paid member 30 days prior to the election to run for office or to vote. If you were thinking of becoming involved with your association in a more meaningful way, now’s your chance. If you’re interested in becoming an officer, contact any election committee member. To be eligible to vote or become an officer, you must be a member in good standing at least one month prior to the election.
