A Hindustani Music Concert by Saniya Kulkarni-Patankar=Disciple of Ashwini Bhide Accompanied by Tabla : Harshad Kanetkar , Disciple of Pt. Suresh Talwalkar Harmonium: Chaitanya Kunte , Disciple of Dr. Arvind Thatte Saniya is a leading disciple of Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande and has won numerous awards and has been recognized by several leading musicians such as Pandit Jasraj, Dr.Prabha Atre, Smt. Malini Rajurkar etc. She was initiated into Hindustani classical music by Smt. Lilatai Gharpure at the age of 6. Today, she has become an accomplished singer of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana with a melodious, enchanting voice. Besides being a regular artist on the All India Radio, Saniya has performed all over India and has participated in many prestigious conferences and music circles and have received awards such as Pt. D.V Paluskar award, Pt. Jasraj trust award. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Central Government Scholarship. She was the winner of the Akashwani’s classical and semi classical singing competition.
