Sitar Maestro Pundit Partha Chatterjee and Shri Nitin Mitta
Pundit Partha Chatterjee comes from a family of passionate musicians. His parents initiated him into music. Later, he learnt with late sitar maestro Pt. Nikhil Bannerjee for 12 years. After his guru’s passing away in 1986, Partha studied with the haloed living legend ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Partha has given concerts all over the globe, on Radio and on TV. Various international institutions have invited him for lectures and workshops. He is a visiting faculty at numerous international institutions. His concerts make a lasting impression on young and old alike for his music is very soulful and touching.

Nitin first learnt tabla with Late Pt. Satyanarayana & is now a disciple of the distinguished tabla maestro Pt. Arvind Mulgaonkar. He is a very sensitive and a creative percussionist. Nitin has accompanied many prominent musicians of India such as Pt. Jasraj, Surshree Prabha Atrey, Pt Rajan-Sajan Miashra, Grammy winner Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, Pandit Buddhaditya Mukherjee and Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya to name a few.
