Sardar Manjit Singh & Dr. Vishnu Saxena / Kavi Sammelan
Sardar Manjit Singh is a highly celebrated Hindi poet of ‘Hasya Vyang’. From the podium, he will make you laugh and laugh and deliver the serious message that will be remembered for a long time to come. He has authored ‘Shakahari Makkhian’, ‘Meri Shav Yatrayian’ and ‘Wrong Number’. He has recited his poetry in many TV programs, and has published in all major publications in India. He has been honored and awarded by many organizations. In 2001, he participated in the national Kavi Sammelan at Lal Quilla. In the last 10 years he has participated in more than 800 Kavi Sammelans.

Dr. Vishnu Saxena is one of the leading poets (Geetkar) of India. His poetry has touched the hearts of millions of his fans in India and abroad. He is well known for his style of poetry recital and melodious singing. He has recited poetry on All India Radio and Door Darshan at more than 100 occasions. He is a master of expressing human emotions in words that will touch your heart. He is widely published in all major Hindi Sahitya magazines, and has published a collection of his poems titled ‘Maduvan Mile Namile’. Dr. Saxena has performed in USA, Thailand, Israel and Oman. This is his third trip to the US by popular demand.

Directions: From I-290 take I-190 N. Take Exit 2 for ARARAT St/HOLDEN. Take left at light to Ararat St. At the end, take left to Brattle St. Take immediate right to Holden St after the rail road crossing. HMLD is the brick building on your left just before the traffic light.
