After several hit shows such as Khandan-e-Kapoor, Badhshah-e-Romance and last year�s �A musical journey with Hrishikesh Mukherjee�, our team is proud to bring you another musical program on April 22nd 2017.
"Awaaz-e�Jazbaat Shankar Jaikishan ke Saath" Shankar Jaikishan dominated Hindi film music for several decades giving us numerous everlasting melodies. Their music brilliantly portrayed an array of different emotions or jazbaats through the magical voices of Rafi, Lata, Mukesh, Manna dey and Asha among others. Who can forget songs like Ehsaan tera hoga mujh par, Yeh mera prem patra padhkar, Yeh Raat bheegi bheegi, Dheere Dheere Chal or Awara hoon? Such songs have shaped our cumulative memories and identities as we were growing up.
On April 22 get ready to get on a nostalgic ride on memory lane as we present an audio-visual experience regaling you with these immortal songs and jazbaats. Our excellent team of singers Mohan Subramaniam, Sowmya Shri, Raghu Saranathan, Nidhi Tare Lad and Hemant Patkar will render the songs.
Our core committee Harish Dang, Dr Manju Sheth, Preetesh Shrivastava, Eshani Shah, Jharna Madan and Dr. Meera Subramaniam welcome you to the show, along with our advisor Bipin Parekh.
Net Proceeds to benefit two charities: Saheli and Indian Circle of Caring
