Meet up with Marty Walsh
We would cordially like to invite you for the fund raising ceremony for our dear friend, Marty Walsh who is one of the frontrunners for the upcoming Boston Mayoral Elections. This is a stand alone event where Marty Walsh will personally meet and interact with each and every one followed by Dinner and Drinks. Martin J. Walsh or Marty as he is fondly called is an accomplished advocate for working people, a son of immigrants and a proud product of the city of Boston. A champion for civil rights, Marty was a strong and early advocate for strong public schools and has championed annual funding for alternative schools in Boston and helped pass a law that allows the city to transform underperforming schools into pilot, magnet and in-district charter schools. He has also become known as the State House leader on substance abuse and recovery issues. Marty previously served as chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security and Federal Affairs and is currently the House chair of the Ethics Committee. As an experienced state lawmaker and native of Dorchester, Marty has the record, skills and passion needed to move Boston and thus the state forward. Most of the communities have done their part in showing their sincere support to Marty Walsh and now its time for our Indian community to come together and become more involved and engaged in showing our support for the upcoming Mayoral elections. Through this platform we are hoping to accomplish more recognition for our community by contributing in any way we can to support a strong candidate, as generous donors like you are the key in making this fundraising event successful.
