Satyanarayana Pooja and Sankha Pooja
Feb.1st 2003, Saturday: 4-6pm:Sri Satyanarayana Pooja & 6-7pm:Sankha(Conch) Pooja “Sani Sravanam” ( Saturday with Sravanam star combination) is an auspicious day, as the same is the birth star of Sri Mahavishnu. As per our ancient sages, it is auspicious to perform Satyanarayana pooja on a full moon day or on a “Sravana Nakshatra” day. As we all know, in the “Kali yuka” performing satyanarayana pooja will yield immediate benefits. Further it is more appropriate to perform “Sankha pooja” by invoking the Lord on the Conch. Hence let us participate in this unique Pooja. Prasad/food will be served after the pooja.
