India Independence Day Celebration
India Association of Rhode Island proudly presents: India Independence Day – A Fortnight of Celebration With great pride and humility, India Association of Rhode Island is planning to celebrate the Independence Day of our beloved country with three events: (a) We will celebrate India Day on August 11 at the Colt State Park from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM. It is a great event with food, games and a lot of activities for adults and children. A true community event with a theme. Bring your family and friends. (b) In the spirit of community service, we will serve a great meal at the soup kitchen. We will decorate the place and have music. Where: Federal Hill House Association, 9 Courtland st. providence When: August 19, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM (c) We are planning India Day with a special display of our art, music, exhibition of handicrafts, a presentation about India and much more..... You will get to meet Providence City officials. There is room if you would like to display or present something, please contact Ashish Pathak at 401-662-0882 Where: Providence City Hall When: August 24, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM All three events are FREE.
