Empowering People through National Rural Employment Guarantee Act
A talk by Chennaiah Poguri, Andhra Pradesh Farm Workers Union, Activist and Founder For nearly three decades, Chennaiah has tirelessly engaged with Dalits and agricultural workers in India. Through his campaigns for land rights, he has furthered the cause of agricultural labor for the rural poor. Chennaiah shares his grassroots perspective on empowering the marginalized, building village infrastructure, and fighting corruption. The event is free to the public.
