Raagmaala Concert
Anupama Bhagwat - Sitar and Nitin Mitta - Tabla
Anupama is a disciple of Pt. Bimlendu Mukerjee, a doyan of the Late Ustad Imdad Khan School. The tradition is known for its fluency and grace. Anupama also holds a B.S. in Mathematics. She has been playing since the age of 13 and performing extensively in India and US.
Nitin has advanced his tabla studies under Pt. Arvind Mulgaonkar (Disciple of Ustad Amir Khan) of Farukhabad School. Nitin has performed with Pt. Jasraj, Rajan-Sajan Mishra, Ulhas Bapat and Grammy Winner Vishwa Mohan Bhatt.
