Art Masala 2002
Art Masala is an art show, exhibition and sale scheduled for Saturday Nov 2nd and Sunday Nov 3rd at the Jane Mack Multi-purpose room. This event coincides with the Indian Festival of Diwali or the festival of lights. There will be a reception with food and drinks on Sat the 2nd of Nov from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to meet artists and view the art, fashions, home furnishings and other crafts on display. Get a head start on your holiday shopping and gift-giving. A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Jana Porter Diversity Foundation. The show is an invitation only event featuring the arts, crafts, fashions, furniture created by four local artists and founding members. The show will also feature a visiting artist from Rhode Island this yearn and works of contemporary Indian artists. There will also be craft activities for kids to participate in and educational materials for all.
