Pt. Ganapathi Bhat hails from Dharwad, North Karnataka that has given music giants like Mallikarjun Mansur, Gangubai Hangal, Basavaraj Rajguru, Bhimsen Joshi. His vocalism draws inspiration from the Kirana, Gwalior and Patiala schools. He is a torchbearer of an inspired tradition. His voice is powerful, melodious & impeccably suited for Hindustani classical as well as light classical music. Ganapathi has a rich repertoire of different styles of compositions. A top-grade artiste of All India Radio. Bhat has toured extensively all over India and USA. He continues to perform in all major music conferences in India.
