Mind Bugs: The Science of Unconscious Bias with Mahzarin Banaji
Professor Mahzarin R. Banaji is the Richard Clarke Cabot Professor of Social Ethics in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. She studies human thinking and feeling as it unfolds in social contexts. Her focus is primarily on mental systems that operate in implicit or unconscious mode and their social consequences. Mind Bugs, a hands-on workshop, will explore the implications of Professor Banaji's work for questions of individual responsibility and social justice in democratic societies.
