YOU ARE INVITED TO CELEBRATE DIWALI/DIVALI – THE HINDU FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AT FIRST PARISH UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH 7 CONCORD ROAD, BILLERICA SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 11 AM Diwali reminds us to wake up from the slumber of ignorance and light the lamp of wisdom, goodness and God-consciousness in ourselves. We will bless of the tools of our work, closing accounts from the past year; removing anger, hate, and jealousy from our lives; and asking for prosperity in the coming year. Bring something that represents your work for the blessing ceremony. Worship service and pooja at 11 AM, followed by Indian feast and folk dancing. All ages and faiths are welcome to attend.
